今 has two different elements. The top of the Kanji part is 人 which means people or person. This Kanji letter is often to be seen as two people supporting each other, or one person standing firmly. On the below, it looks like a little person is stand or bent.
I translate this Kanji as whenever we feel lonely, we are emotionally or physically supported by somebody but it’s not always the support is visible.
